About Us

The Reading League Florida is an affiliate chapter of the national not-for-profit organization, The Reading League. Our mission is to advance the awareness, understanding, and use of evidence-based reading instruction across Florida by providing professional development and other resources to teachers and stakeholders around the state. Our group of volunteer leaders is comprised of teachers, parents, university faculty, administrators, physicians, private clinicians, and others who are dedicated to aligning reading instruction around the state with evidence-based practices that yield the greatest gain for the largest proportion of students.
